Marrakech Biennale 6th Edition
International Street Artists descend in Morocco to create 17 public murals across Marrakech and Essaouira
The title of the sixth edition of the Marrakech Biennale is Not New Now, and its aim is “to build bridges between cultures through the arts”. Its street-art programme, curated by Attollo Art, features site-specific commissions including some works outside Marrakech. A huge mural painted on the ground of a square in the seaside town of Essaouira is among the main attractions. It was created by Italian street artist Giacomo Bufarini, otherwise known as RUN.
